Tang’s frozen, all-natural potstickers have saved many a mid-week meal for us. With all-natural ingredients like Bell & Evans chicken, shiitake mushroom and onion surrounded by a whole wheat dumpling wrapper, they make a healthy meal with just a salad and a dipping sauce (we combine soy sauce and rice vinegar half and half). And they’re made in Brooklyn. Who knew?
Though they can be steamed, we favor the pan-frying method of heating a pan coated in canola oil, putting in the frozen potstickers, cooking on high heat for 1 or 2 minutes until they brown slightly then adding 1/2 cup water, reducing the heat and cooking covered for 7-10 more minutes.
