He’s appeared on Fulton, at Greenlight Books and at the Brooklyn Flea. But who IS this nondenominationally jolly fellow? This being New York, he’s written a book, available in 4 separate parts each weekend day of the Flea. Parts I & II have already been passed out at the Flea at One Hanson Place and will be also available at Greene Grape Provisions this Friday, Dec. 17 from 5-7pm. Part III will be available Dec. 18 from 12-3pm at the Flea and Part IV will be available Dec. 19 from 12-3pm at the Flea. And after December 20, you can read his entire tail on the Greene Grape website.

Are you an ant or a grasshopper? While you grasshoppers whiled away your summer days shopping at the Brooklyn Flea and picnicking in Fort Greene park, local ants Shamus and Josh of Brooklyn Brine were picking the best New York State produce and canning it for the long, cold winter. But its not too late to profit from their hard work. Stop by Provisions and pick a jar or two of hot heirloom cucumbers, heirloom peppers or yellow wax beans to put up in your pantry for the cold days ahead.
