Larmandier Bernier Longitude Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Premier Cru NV

We’re thrilled to announce we’ve got six cases of the this year’s New York Times Best Value Champagne coming into the store tomorrow just in time for holiday celebrating and gift-giving.  Larmandier Bernier’s Longitude Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Premier Cru NV ($55) is a drier style of champagne the Times article called “clear, pure and multi-faceted, with aromas of flowers and herbs.”  Made exclusively from chardonnay grapes, this style of champagne is the height of current fashion in the bubbly world.  Small production by an individual grower with attention to quality in the bottle instead of marketing, these small house champagnes are known as ‘farmer fizz’.
