We were very excited to see our very own Rosi Schuster Blaufränkisch, a wine we have adored over numerous vintages, steal the show in this week’s Wall Street Journal wine article. Underrated and often dismissed, blaufränkisch in general has been ignored by red wine drinkers the world over. But that is changing fast. The WSJ article meandered through a selection of non-grüner Austrian wines, coming almost to a full stop at the Rosi Schuster Blaufränkisch ’11. Describing it as “bright, juicy” and “savory,” they deemed it “simply outstanding” while emphatically proclaiming they would “buy a case of this wine tomorrow.” We couldn’t agree more. This is one of our go-to wines during the fall and winter months.
We have 5 cases available of Rosi Schuster Blaufränkisch ’11 ($21) available. Buy 12 or include a bottle in a mixed case and the price drops to $17.85/bottle. Call now to order (718) 797-9463.
