Rose Parade Tonight!

In honor of Mother’s Day weekend, we’re giving her a bunch of roses tonight from 6-8pm at the wine store.  Join us and sample these five pink wines:

Pannonhalmi Apaptsagi Rose 2011 ($13) – From pinot noir and merlot, this hungarian rose shows notes of tangy strawberry and raspberry.  A great value and a best seller every summer.
Cascina Pace Rosanebbia Rosato 2011 ($15.25) – Nebbiolo, the most prestigious grape of Italy gives this wine medium body and subtle floral notes of ripe red fruits.
Fleur Vin Gris Pinot Noir Rose ($16.50) – California brings a bright, fresh, dry rose with floral and strawberry aromas.  Refreshing and mouthwatering.
Chateau de Roquefort Corail Rose 2011(18.75) – One of our all-time favorite finds, this is classic french rose from Provence.  A bouquet of bright, fresh strawberry and raspberry fruits, refreshing acidity on the palate and a thirst quenching finish.
Schnaitmann Evoe Rose 2011 ($20.75) – Distinct and powerful German rose with ripe red and black berries, spice and hints of fresh herbs, can easily stand up to slightly heavier dishes like roast pork, chicken, or salmon.
