A cooking stock without salt?? Unbelievable, but true! The New York Stock Company makes a handful of restaurant quality flavored stocks, made from produce that comes from local farms. These frozen quarts can be used for braising or poaching meats, enhancing the flavors of grains and beans, making sauces and of course, soups. There is no salt, additives or preservatives, just clean vegetable and meat flavors.
We’ve got two flavors as of now: Wild Mushroom & Fennel, and Classic Chicken. We think a risotto with the Wild Mushroom flavor and a generous sprinkling of Parmigiano cheese would be delightful and comforting. And the Chicken stock?
