This Saturday from 5-8 pm at the wine store join us for a tasting of Tito’s vodka, a pure spirit perfect for infusing with your favorite fruit or botanical.  Infused vodkas make great gifts.  And we’ve got tiny bottles of Tito’s for economical handmade stocking stuffers.  Now that’s the holiday spirit, pun intended!

Infusion can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on how intense your botanical is and how intense you want the flavor to be.  Lemon rind (without the white pith) can infuse in a week, Rosemary in just a few days.  Add some simple syrup and boil off a little alcohol and you’ve got limoncello (or basilcello or rosemarycello or mangocello . . .)
