With stuffed turkeys soon leading to stuffed people (remember you can order birds, sides, pies and wine on our website up until Monday, Nov. 21), it’s the perfect time of year to feature bitters, those elixirs whose minute quantities add a kick to your drink and combined with soda water make wonderful non-alcoholic digestifs.  Provisions has a whole new lineup including classics like Peychaud’s and Thursday, November 10, we’re thrilled to partner with Greenlight Books for a special event spotlighting bitters:

5:30-7:30pm Bitters and soda tasting at The Annex with Zachary Feldman, creator of the “Bitters, Old Men” line of bitters
7:30-8:30pm Brad Thomas Parsons, author of the book “Bitters: A Spirited History of a Classic Cure-All, with Cocktails, Recipes, and Formulas” in conversation with Zach at Greenlight Books
8:30-9:30pm Sample cocktails made with bitters including a classic champagne cocktail hosted by Brad and Zach at the wine store
