We have been holding onto our 1 case of San Diego’s Alesmith Speedway Stout for a few weeks waiting for the weather to get a little colder, but mother nature  had different plans.  This imperial stout is a big beer weighing in at 12{0886acb4f5be58b49bf4e022446f4168c3918f2aad77c1481cecb92c8f2156f3}ABV.  Alesmith brewed the beer using coffee provided by San Diego coffee roasters Ryan Brothers.  The coffee flavor is the backbone of the stout which also contains chocolate and  dark fruit notes.  Don’t let the sunshine fool you, it is still the fall and fall is big beer season.
