Join us Friday, September 16 from 6-8pm to sample a few vermouths and one special amaro.
Aperitifs and digestifs are great bookends to a good meal. Vermouth is known as an essential ingredient in manhattan cocktails but can also be served on the rocks as an aperitif. After a satisfying meal in Europe it is common to serve a digestif, usually a bitter liqueur that is intended to settle your stomach and ease any too-full feeling.
Friday we’ll sample a new Italian vermouth, Cocchi vermouth di torino, an old French favorite, Dolin vermouth, and a new Italian amaro, Cardamaro.
