Nathalie Balland, Parisian maman and part of the group behind Le Fooding taking over P.S. 1 this weekend, found herself right at home in Fort Greene this summer. And her visit included stops at Provisions, as she wrote in the NY Times Moment blog:
I get fine foods from Greene Grape Provisions. Not only is the place stocked with a wide variety of American and European cheeses, Brooklyn-made ricotta [from Salvatore Bklyn], American prosciutto-like ham [La Quercia Prosciutto Americano], amazing olive oil from Sicily and tasty fresh beef, but the staff is also impressively friendly and good-looking. We often people-watch on the bench outside while sipping Americanos.
